    Television Segment.  Produced  for Time Warner Cable's Second Cinema, this segment, written and directed by Ian Hayes Brett will begin airing in January.  The Simple Man is a dramatic thriller that examines one man's struggle and paranoia as he goes to great lengths to escape his lonely existence.  Starring Marcus M'teo and Sterlin Lake.

Baby Jerusalem

Based on the Life of Nat Turner

    Feature Film.  Baby Jerusalem  tells the story of one of the largest slave insurrections in the history of the United States.  Set in early 19th century Virginia, the film takes a look at one of history's most infamous characters.  Moved by his deep religious beliefs, Nat Turner leads a small army of slaves in an uprising that spares no man, woman, or child.  Based on the true events that spread fear and rage throughout the antebellum south.

THE AUGUST HEAT

    Feature Film.  Johnny, a twenty-something man stuck in a dead end job, works to take care of Beaufort, his mentally ill brother whom the rest of the family is content to forget about.  When Beaufort accidentally kills the son of Jeremiah Pierce, the town's most influential man, he and Johnny are forced to go on the lam, avoiding both the law and the vengeance of the Pierce family.  As the world around them closes in, Johnny must decide how far he is willing to go to protect his brother.
